Why Choose a School Powered by EOS?
EOS teaching methods, education standards, and course curriculum enable the effective delivery of a middle and high school academic experience that qualifies compliant students for UC-approved graduation requirements. It ensures thorough college preparation, backed by years of experience from the Elite Education Group, while freeing up instructional hours for the pursuit of less traditional subjects and passions. It is an ideal platform that pairs the flexibility of a non-traditional approach to education with top quality college-bound programming.
Why Choose a Blended Education?
At EOS, we promote blended learning to enable students to maximize the benefits of digital content and in-person instruction. We believe that leveraging the two mediums allows for a more complete learning experience. By utilizing technology to facilitate knowledge acquisition and learning management, our online modules circumvent the drawbacks of analog teaching methods. Similarly, to offset the lack of human connection resultant of a digitized curriculum, we incorporate live instruction within dynamic learning environments to develop interpersonal skills and institute group-based accountability.
Why Choose an Education Backed by Elite Education Group?
Since 1987, Elite Education Group has been working with students and families to achieve their scholastic goals in over 50 campuses across 7 countries. With 10,000+ students assisted every year, Elite Education Group serves as a leader in college preparatory education and college admissions counseling. As an affiliated organization to both ECA and EOS, Elite Education Group provides a wealth of experience and knowledge relating to academic achievement and college readiness. Subsequently, ECA is able to source staff for admissions consulting and other academic services from an organization with over 30 years of experience.
At ECA, student assessments present a useful tool for gauging student aptitude throughout the enrollment process. For the initial application to be admitted to the ECA School of Film & Entertainment, ECA will accept, and sometimes require, the Duolingo English Test, SSAT, PSAT, SAT or ACT. Through our partner organization, Elite Prep, we also offer an extensive range of diagnostic assessments throughout the school year. In accordance with accreditation standards, all ECA students will also have their progress tracked against regional and national standards through the iReady assessment system. By utilizing regular assessments in addition to semester grades, ECA is able to calibrate a student’s trajectory relative to his or her goals while logging a repository of information to evaluate growth for parents and families.

For students looking to challenge themselves academically, Advanced Pathways are curated programs by Elite Open School to connect these students to resources and opportunities that will distinguish them from the average graduate. These advanced pathways are a rigorous tier of selective learning programs for high achieving students in grades 6-12 that provide tailored curriculum based on a student’s set goals. We partner with families to guide students through these various pathways, ultimately striving towards admissions to the top universities.
Early College (Dual Diploma) Program
The conventional path to academic rigor taken by most high school students usually relies on College Board Advanced Placement courses – often starting in 11th grade. Students may also enroll in courses at a junior college to satisfy their intellectual drive and showcase their academic aptitude.
Alternatively, EOS offers the Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree for students who wish to challenge themselves with college level coursework from the beginning of high school. The Associate of Arts program is a rare opportunity for students to progress through a UC A-G Requirement-fulfilling course progression, while satisfying each subject with a college level curriculum.
Most coursework can count as transferable credit, allowing students to matriculate into their undergraduate freshman year with significant college credits to fulfill general education requirements, potentially up to third-year undergraduate standing. This in turn unlocks possibilities for double majors, advanced program admissions, and/or early college graduation. Graduates of the Dual Diploma Program receive a high school diploma from Elite Open School, as well as an Associate of Arts degree from a regionally accredited US college or university.
For students looking to challenge themselves throughout all aspects of their education, Elite Open School is proud to offer the transformative Minerva Baccalaureate. Based on the proven principles of engaged learning pioneered by Minerva Schools for college students, this innovative program is unique from an AP or IB program in its holistic, interdisciplinary approach to academics, with an emphasis on the real-world application of knowledge.
The Minerva Baccalaureate is an accelerated, four-year blended program that instills essential skills and career competencies across the core subjects of Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. The program integrates structured, personalized learning modalities with engaging teacher-led classes alongside peers to offer the advantages of both individualized and fully active learning methodologies.
Students apply learned concepts and develop skills in complex critical thinking, advanced problem solving, and strategic decision-making — uniquely preparing graduates not only for college acceptance but success at top institutions. The first three years of the Minerva Baccalaureate consist of advanced high school courses, with the final year dedicated to college-level courses, including a capstone project. Graduates receive a high school diploma from Elite Open School, a Minerva Baccalaureate diploma, and 32 units of college credit.
The Minerva Baccalaureate program is an alternative to the traditional high school education core curriculum. As such, Baccalaureate students would continue the creative arts training programs at the ECA School of Film & Entertainment.
