EEI Creative Arts (ECA) is a fully accredited private middle school and high school offering top college preparation through blended learning and specializing in professional level development and training of film and digital media. In short, the first school geared for the next generation of creative arts.

Film and Digital Media today is radically changing. There are new production stages such as pre-visualization, new segments of the industry that needs new skills and really a new generation, trained, educated, exposed much earlier to technology-driven creativity and production quality. Traditional film programs or classes, especially for middle and high school, are stuck in the past of reproducing old media or ignoring the skill sets and tools of the next generation. There is a disconnect. Students must explore new methods, master new skills, and create next generation portfolios. The top film programs at the college/university level want it from applicants and media companies desperately need it.

Thus, ECA was established by Hollywood’s top producers and managers to develop visionary education in film and digital media.  ECA has created a unique curriculum for aspiring artists to reach their highest creative potential with first of their kind programs. Students graduate fully equipped with hands-on experience to master their craft and the professional portfolio to bring their potential to life.

Industry Direction and Demand

ECA has at its core a team of Hollywood studio executives and film professionals who are devoted to a dynamic and holistic pathway to film and digital media education.

Our students will not just learn but do real work, pre and post production, through a year on year development plan to in the end have each child produce significant professional-grade creative work worthy of not only college admission but also Hollywood recruitment.

How it Works

Heart of Los Angeles

Certain cities are known for certain industries or certain businesses. History has shown that very few cities retain industries past one generation, but Los Angeles has stood the test of time in being both relevant and a leader in the industry of film and media.

LA has always been where the stars of hollywood come to make or break their careers but it is still the hotbed of production companies and new technology driven media companies, ventures, and projects. The world has indeed opened in in terms of sources of media, especially digital media, but still the trend setting and bleeding edge of film is still Los Angeles. From companies as historic as MGM, to tech companies wanting to expand digital media presence such as Google and Youtube, from studios to startups, the city is a wealth of experience beyond comparison.

And that is why we chose to place our campus in the heart of Los Angeles. We want our students to always frame their education and dream career pathway with the opportunities and goings on of LA. And when it comes time for ECA students imbed themselves in externships and internships to bolster technical knowledge and networks, we want them to be close to it all. We want their college applications to top film programs to be heavily influenced by the industry leaders this city and only this city has to offer.

We want our students to leverage as much of LA as possible in their education and, one day, return to lead it.
